School holidays

What a better way than to start the holidays than a firework show, that's right Tony Grandfathers head technician Mum and I were setting up for the opening of kidsfest firework show. After we conected the pyro to the terminal box then I kept Zina Tonys dog company and keeping out of the bitterly cold wind. Finally the time had come, I proudly was in charge of videoing the show it was breathtaking it was so much fun. At the end of the holidays Hayley came over for a sleepover so on saturday night we stayed up talking till ten thirty it was so much fun. The next day feeling rushed and a tight skegiwil we were up at 6:30 breakfast and finished by 7:00. Then dad saw us "what are you doing up so early"he asked "getting reading for clip'n'climb" I answered unsertainly "you are going at10:30" u o that was a big mistake, so we had a boring morning. Then at 10:30 privies we were jumping, laughing and shoughting having so much fun but before I knew it, it was time to go to see how you train your dragon 2 but dad was so hungry we had to wait for him to stuf his face with bugerking. Inbarrasing right? The movie was awesome I won't tell you because I don't want to ruin it for you. But to my astonitment dad was hungry again so we had to wait for him to eat his KFC. These were the one best holidays yet

Rhino

Rhino are mammals.

Rhino eat up to 190 to 200 plants a day. They eat bark, grass and roots. They find food by scratching the ground. Rhinos live in the East African plains. They are five meters long and two meters wide , they are gray with big horns. Did you know that rhino skin is as soft as human skin? Rhino have nose muscles that lock their horn into place in battle but when they are relaxed you can wiggle their horns from side to side. Rhino horn is made of hair. There are five different specices of rhino. All five can grow to the weight of 1000kg. Relative to their large body they have tiny brains. We need to look after rhino because they will be extinct very soon.

The endangered species of Oriana park

On the 5th of February 2014 it was a very dark day room3 went to Oriana park to learn about animals.
The first type of animals we looked at was endangered species, first we looked at the Gibbons. One of the Gibbons was called Oscar. He use to live with his mum in a tree in the wild until some one cut down the tree and killed his mum and sold him to a pet shop. Then a truck driver bought him and there he stayed chained up in the back of the truck for six years until Oriana park bought him. They chopped down all the trees because they need to plant more Palm trees for Palm oil. We also saw the Rhino's, did you know that Rhino's skin is as soft as ours and people kill them just for their horns and leave the rest of the Rhino laying there. Then turn the horn in to medicine that doesn't work.
P.S  Please do not eat anything with palm oil in it or Rhino horn in it. I am very sad about what I have learn but I still had an amazing trip.
