Jazmyne's argument about fireworks

FIREWORKS 

I like fireworks, they look cool but I think you shouldn't have them at home. Lots of people think they should be at home. 


Fireworks should be one day a year because they can hurt animals. They can hurt their ears and frighten them. The animals can run away as well. Miss Harris' bunny sometimes runs away form the noise of the fireworks.

I think that you should ask your next door neighbour. They could be going to bed and you might wake them.  They might have a big day at school the next day and they might be going to bed early.

You shouldn't have them at home because it could damage something. Like their house caught on fire or their fence, which means they need to buy a new house. Firemen would have to come with a hose to make the fire disappears. 

I think you could have sparklers at home. But if they're ones that go in the sky I think those ones should be for public displays.

The Amazing Trip

The amazing trip

In the holidays I went to kaikoura. we  got to camp in my poppas camper van. My cousins Jesse and Kade came. My dad and their dad came as well. We went fishing, I got a fish . When we got back to camp we got to toast marshmallows over the fire. They were so yum. For tea we had fresh fish from some kind fisherman, it was yummy. The next day we went home we stopped at the beach on the trip home.

This term we have done lots of things like....

-stamp reward I got two prizes. We get stamps for doing the right thing. You use them to get prizes at the auction.

-free writing I did a comic about Zombies.

-dodge ball we normally  win yay 

-pe sport, techniques with sport.

-energy poster, we all did one sentence about how energy works each

-reading toxic with Mrs Rooney it was one of the best.

Chile

Chile is a country. It is in South America and it is really warm. And it had Lots of earthquakes. It has lots of beautiful beaches. Some have orange sand and some have normal sand. Everybody speaks Spanish and no one speaks English. Some of the houses are really tall and there are lots of apartments. A deer  is the national animal and the favourite sport in Chile is football.

Christian Cullen

Christian Cullen is one of my favorite rugby players . I like the way he plays the game.

When He was playing he was the 8th top try-scorer in international rugby. He scored 46 points in 58 tests.

he was born in 1976 in Paraparaumu, NZ.

He played for the hurricanes in the super 12 he scored 308 points [56 tries, 8 con, 3 pen, 1 dg ]  

his first game in the NZ sevens was in 1996 in 1998 he played in the Commonwealth games. He scored 9 tries and kicked 23 conversions and they won a gold medal.

At the end of 2003 Cullen moved to Ireland. Where he played for Munster

I really like how he uses speed to score tries. I like that he is always in the right place when the opposition are attacking.

Grow the donkeys tail

Goal: to pin the tail in the exact middle of the donkeys bum.

Materials: pin, fake tail (can be cardboard), Donkey poster, group of people, blindfold.


method

1.  Put the poster on the wall. 
2. Tie the pin to the cardboard.
3. Organise a line with the people.
4.  Put the blindfold on the first person in the line.
5.  Pass the pin to the person with the blindfold on.
6. Walk towards the poster the best you can (this is for the person with the blindfold on)
7. Trie ame the pin to the donkeys bum.
8. Take the blindfold of the see were you got it 
9. Continue this over and over with ever person.

The person that got it the closest to where the tail would go on a real donkey is the winner.

Goal- try not to get tagged and try not to move when the music is off.

Materials-

Lots of people

Large spot to play

Method-

1. Pick a tager and music person and spread everyone out

 2. Press the button on the radio( only the music person does this)

3. Every one runs around, if some one does not they are out

4. If you get tagged you are out

5. At any time the music person will turn off the music and every one will freeze, if you are caught moving you are  out.

6. If you are out you must sit down

Conclusion- the last person still standing wins

Airforce Museum

On 16 on june room 3&4 went to the air force museum  we went on a bus when we got there we had morning tea.

Then we sat down in front of the 'Wall of Honour' then Chris told us that Rm 3 was going to his classroom and Rm 4 was doing a treasure hunt. 

In the classroom we learnt about the war in 1915 World War 1. 
Some of the soldiers  were throwing food at the other side to trick them and when they came to get the food they got shot. 

Then we had a break and learnt about the truce days. After that we went and played on the plane before we swapped over.

For the treasure we paired up with a mum. I was with Grace, Jasmine, Ellie, Fynn and Graces Mum. There were 12 questions and we found and answered all of them. We did a sheet of planes that we saw and we had to do what we saw and how they felt when they did it. But I didn't do it. All of the planes that we saw were real but one.

Last monday me and my friends called Rosie, Grace, Francesca and Jasmine went out for a picnic. We got everything out and set it up. Then we had some cake and some sandwiches and some lollies. After that we played some games like tag and hide and seek it was fun. Then we packed everything up and set of. We had a great time at the picnic.

Malekas demolition

My house got destroyed on 3\12\14 my mum dad Jackson and dan my dad's friend came to watch my house  get destroyed . We are going to make a movie with photos.

I had a bee hive it was under the gutter at the front of the house, the good news was they survived 

BUT one probably died sadly.

Fiddler on the roof

Yesterday the whole school went to Fiddler on the Roof. It was dark at the start. The people who did the play were really good and it was fantastic.

the tunnel dragon

``bored! bored! bored! I can’t believe my parents sent me to Canada to study english I don’t know anyone and there is nothing to do, Jesse complained. he sat in the park at the edge of the forest looking up as the clouds passed by. then he looked into the forest. his teacher warned him to stay in the park but he was curious so he walked through the trees. after a short while he found a secret tunnel so he walked, grabbed a torch from his bag and turned it on then he heard howling (hooooohooooo) luckily it was just an owl. then he heard rumbling, he walked further in the cave.

he stepped on something hard and sharp so he picked up a stone a threw it, it stopped and dropped to the ground. then red eyes came out of know where a dragon started to attack him so he pulled a minigun from his bag and started firing at the dragon no just kidding who would let a student in to school with a minigun, anyway back to the story, he dropped his torch and ran all the way out. the dragon followed him  then his best friend Ernie knew 3 diffrent martial arts. Ernie knew judo, aikido and karate then he attacked

it was awesome to watch. It was like an action movie scene. 

the dragon fell to the ground uncscious. they walked away back to school and lived happily ever after.   1o year later jesse became a dragon hunter and Ernie became the best martial arter in the world and they where still friends

Eric and the princess

Eric found a portal, he was afraid to go in. On his right was a old man. He had large leg’s like tree roots, his arms was pumping pure vains,  he terrified Eric. 3 hours later the old man said you” shall walk through the portal now !!! So Eric went through the portal. Bob (the big guy) came with him. They teleported to Candy land to save PPB princess bubble gum. She was locked in a tower with pure chocolate water and pure candy floss for company. When bob and Eric arrived their quest was to find vinegar man in town. People were all made out of fudge head, fish sticks legs and hands, eyes out of chocolate balls mouth made out of lime stones and some yellow bubble gum. When they found vinegar man they wanted weapons from him like combat axe, MP7 gun and some Rifles to save princess bubble gum. When they found the tower they needed to throw the combat axe to kill the huge lime guards on his right came the Queen of candy land. The Queen could see through anything accept metal, strawberry bushes so they were lucky. 

Bob said go in the chocolate lime watery tower, so Eric sneaked in by flying. When entering candyland you have 2 hours of flying when you are out of flying potion you get to the Queen. Bob tricked Eric into going inside the tower so Eric got locked inside the tower with princess bubble gum. Bob sneaked up behind Eric didn’t know that Bob was going to trap him in the tower for ever. So Bob made little noise and Eric turned behind and ran out the door because he knew that he was going to be trapped inside the tower with princess bubble gum. He didn’t want to stay inside so he had a plan, he flew up and saw the room and saw the window was opened and flew through the window and saved princess bubble gum. When she finished they tried to get rid of Bob, and the Queen. When Eric got rid of the Queen and Bob princess bubble gum said to Eric will you marry me so Eric said to princess bubble gum yes I will marry so they lived happy ever after

Eric and the Techno world

He walked through the secret tunnel and he ended up in a different world. 

The world had technology ipod ipad iphone iwatch icar  and a imotorbike and Eric played animal jam and he is a member for 8 years. Then he flew home.

Lily in wonderland

"Bored! Bored! Bored! I can't believe my parents sent me to Canada to study English! I don't know anything about English and there is nothing to do,"Lily complained. After a short while she found a secret tunnel Lily thought a bit but she was bored and forgot what her teacher said and walked into the tunnel.... she walked into the tunnel without a sound she saw a chubby, fluffy bunny that hopped around in circles,  Lily went closer and closer she heard a thud, the bunny had slipped into a deep dark ditch, Lily went to the very edge of the ditch, dirt tumbled down Lily slipped and fell down, down, down then splash she landed into a pond. Lily found a nice big tree to have a nap under she fell asleep easily she woke up about 1/2  hour later. Lily looked around then all of a sudden she felt something crawling up her leg, she was too scared to look down but she had too there was a ...... please buy now, Lily got distracted from this noise in the distance she forgot all about the thing on her leg it was a Caterpillar by the way. Back to the story she listened and followed the sound she was lead to a big humongous castle. The sound was so loud her eardrums nearly popped. At the entrance to the castle there were to slimy gooey looking things I tried to guess what they were i just couldn't get it. Then this lady came out in such a posh dress i couldn't even look at her. She said to me what are you doing here she said that they will put her into a spaceship and send her back to where ever she lived. So unfortunately that was the end of her adventure she hopped into the spaceship and flew back to Canada.
