Surfing

On Monday 9th of DECEMBER

Room 3 went to the beach to go surfing we had a really good time and learnt stuff about the waves like how the waves break I love surfing now and I am a really good surfer because my uncle is a professional surfer and sometimes he used to teach me.Now I want a wetsuit and a soft top  we surfed for about half an hour I learned some cool skills like how to get up on the board for example first we paddle then we put our arms under our arm pits and get up and bend our legs and have our arms out by our sides and balance its a little cold at the start but it gets warmer its good because I had a wetsuit on..and he whole time I was surfing I wasn't really concentrating on the waves or the Board because I was focusing on... NIALL  we were in groups I was in group 2 so I went second in my group was Juliet,Lily,Myka,Verity,Astasia,Lilah that was all the girls and who cares about the BOYS!!!

Last night all the year 5's went to do our performance that Melody taught us. I was a dolly and the boys were soldiers. We got dropped of in the green room and then we got our makeup on. Then we were seated at 6 o'clock. Uh oh me and Hannah say, a guy comes up and starts talking then he says New Brighton Catholic. I was so nervous but when I got on the stage it wasn't as bad as I thought, it was actually quite fun!

In the Domain at our school there are Woodcutters chopping down the big tree.When we were young we used to call that special tree Uncle Steve.He was very kind and was there when we needed him most.At the moment his branches are falling down,I couldn't watch much longer,it was too sad to watch.Well we don't really pay much attention to Uncle Steve any more anyway but he is still a part of our life,well was a part of our life!!!

This morning we started to Learn about procedures. To start  our learning of procedures we played the chocolate game. Our goal was to roll a six and eat as many squares of chocolate as possible.
